Born and bred Memphians Andy Ticer and Michael Hudman are the award-winning culinary force behind Enjoy AM Restaurant Group. After training at Johnson & Wales University in Charleston, SC, and the Italian Culinary Institute in Calabria, Italy, the duo returned home to open their flagship restaurant, Andrew Michael Italian Kitchen, in 2008. The much-loved restaurant introduced Memphis to their signature style: innovative Italian cooking rooted in Southern tradition. 

In 2012, they opened Hog & Hominy, a wood-burning neighborhood eatery blending Italian technique with Southern ingredients and spirit. The restaurant was named one of America’s Best New Restaurants by GQ, Southern Living, and Bon Appétit, and was a Semifinalist for the James Beard Foundation Best New Restaurant Award.  

In 2013, Ticer and Hudman were named to Food & Wine’s prestigious Best New Chefs list and were later honored as StarChefs Rising Star Chefs. The chefs were also recognized as James Beard Award Semifinalists for Best Chef: Southeast for three consecutive years (2012–2014) and Nominees for the award from 2015–2019.  

Catherine & Mary’s opened in Downtown Memphis in 2016, bringing together the chefs’ Sicilian heritage, grandmother-inspired cooking, and deep love of the Italian dining philosophy. 

In 2025, the chefs received recognition from the inaugural MICHELIN Guide American South, with Andrew Michael Italian Kitchen named a MICHELIN Recommended restaurant and Hog & Hominy awarded a Bib Gourmand, highlighting the group’s commitment to exceptional food and hospitality in Memphis. 

Their latest venues are Josephine Estelle and Rosie’s Tavern, a multi-level concept at The Standard in Germantown. Downstairs, you’ll find Josephine Estelle, a neighborhood Italian-American eatery with a seasonal menu of Southern-inspired takes on classic Italian favorites. Up a staircase featuring art from local artists Brandon Marshall and Joseph Boyd lies Rosie’s Tavern, a cozy, moody cocktail bar serving tavern favorites like steaks, burgers, and oysters alongside classic and inventive cocktails.
